"Worrisome": Sharad Pawar On KCR's 600-Car Convoy For Maharashtra

NCP boss Sharad Pawar on Tuesday protested Telangana Boss Priest K Chandrashekar Rao showing up in Pandharpur town of Maharashtra with a tremendous motorcade, saying this endeavor to “show strength” was troubling.

K Chandrashekar Rao, who on Monday visited the renowned Vitthal-Rukmini sanctuary at Pandharpur in Solapur region of southern Maharashtra, held a meeting at Sarkoli town, exactly 20 km away, on Tuesday as a feature of his Bharat Rashtra Samithi’s (BRS) endeavors to grow its base.

He showed up in the state with a motorcade of 600 vehicles on Monday.

Conversing with correspondents here, Sharad Pawar said in the event that a main priest of an adjoining state came to offer petitions, there was not an obvious explanation to protest.

“In any case, the endeavor to show huge strength as far as number of vehicles was troubling,” he said.

It would have been exceptional had K Chandrashekar Rao’s visit centered around improving collaboration between the two states, Pawar added.

Gotten some information about Bhagirath Bhalke, who had ineffectively challenged the 2021 Pandharpur Gathering bypoll on NCP ticket, joining the BRS at the Tuesday’s assembly, Pawar said there was compelling reason need to stress if a singular left the party.

“Subsequent to giving pass to Bhagirath Bhalke, we understood that our decision was off-base, however I would rather not discuss it,” he said
