The 82nd IPSC (Indian Public Schools’ Conference) Principals’ conclave was hosted virtually from 8-10 January by The Doon School. This was the first-ever virtual conclave in the history of IPSC. As many as 60 principals from leading IPSC schools participated in the conclave. The event began with the welcome address by IPSC chairman Sunil Kant Munjal.
The chief guest for the opening ceremony was Uttarakhand Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh who delivered the keynote address. The theme for the three-day conclave was ‘Journey from Relearning to Reform with Resilience.’

The three-day conclave ended on Monday with union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who was the chief guest for the closing ceremony, addressing the conclave. Nishi Misra, the chairperson of IPSC, presented the vote of thanks for both the opening and closing ceremonies.

After the closing ceremony, the AGM took place and Jagpreet Singh, headmaster of the Doon School, was elected unanimously as the new chairman of the IPSC.
